VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are needed and greatly appreciated. Prior experience with cats is preferred but not necessary to volunteer. Volunteers 14 -17 years of age will need the written consent of their parent or legal guardian. Potential volunteers less than 18 must be accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian for his/her first event.
Minor volunteers must have their own transportation.
We need help with the following:
Fundraising
Assist in a variety of fundraising efforts throughout the year. Examples include helping to find donors for auctions or yard sales, collect donations from our donation jars placed various business in the area, and posting flyers around town. If this is something you are able to help us with, please request at dreams.rescue@yahoo.com
Adoption and Fundraising Events
Our volunteers are the key to success at various events throughout the year. Charity events include our annual AniMile booth, our annual yard sale, our Adoption events held at local vet offices, and several other fun events during the year. Sign up to help for an hour or two. You will have fun and help homeless cats at the same time! If this is something you are able to help us with, please request a volunteer form at dreams.rescue@yahoo.com
Animal Professionals
We always need professional services from veterinarians, trainers and groomers to help our cats get through those tough times. If you are a professional and would be able to give some of your very busy day (or evening) to a worthy cause, you have found the right organization! Do you use Fresh Step Kitty Litter?
We are collecting the Paw Points from all bags &
boxes of Fresh Step Kitty Litter.
Paw Points are located on the side of each bag.
There is a code # on the inside of the first layer
of the bag. With that code # we
can accumulate paw points that go toward
the discounted purchase of Fresh Step Litter.

Purina has a fantastic program for rescues and shelters throughout
the country!!! DREAMS and WISHES turn in weight circles from
bags and boxes of Purina brand pet food and redeem them for
Purina food coupons or Vet checks to help with the mounting cost of
caring for these helpless animals in need of furever homes.
Weight circles are located on the side of most brands of Purina Cat,
Kitten, Dog and Puppy brand dry food bags and boxes.

Become the newest member of the
ALL YOU PROVIDE IS THE LOVE!
ALL YOU PROVIDE IS THE HOME & THE LOVE! D.R.E.A.M.S. pays for each foster feline's food, veterinary care, even toys and other supplies. FELINE FOSTER TEAM members need to be comfortable handling cats, but for most kitty clients, that's the only experience required. D.R.E.A.M.S. will teach you all you need to know about caring for your foster cats/kittens, and someone is available by phone 24 hours/7 days a week to help with any problems that may arise.
SPONSOR A CAT OR KITTEN
Many of our rescued pets need special care, such as worm & flea treatment, they need spayed or neutered, or other extensive medical treatment. Others don't seem to sell themselves well at adoptions - even the sweetest pets can go unnoticed by potential adopters, simply because they are shy and a little skittish or too "average" looking. Or maybe you have fallen in love with a cat that you saw on our picture pages or at an adoption event, but you are unable to bring an animal into your home right now.
For all of these reasons, we have created the Sponsor-A-Pet Program, which allows you to donate money to help a specific cat at D.R.E.A.M.S. AND W.I.S.H.E.S. No-Kill Animal Rescue.
