I'm indebted to Wendy for helping me when my Dad's dog "Pepper" was stollen.  The two cats in my profile image have both been rescued by me.  My loving husband, Woody, doesn't call it rescue.  he calls it "bringing home every stray I see"...........

"Colby" the big yellow "Cheese", rescued from the street by my grandson Jared, still lives with us and the little grey "Walker" now lives with our vet in Ohio.  I found her a "Walkin" on Rt 58 in Lee Co, VA.

I am living in Lee Co VA right now taking care of my Dad.  He is completely bedridden now, but I am hoping we can get him back on his feet.  My mother, Athelene King, passed away January 20, 2009 and my Dad has fallen into a deep depression.  I have help most days with my Dad and home health comes in on a daily basis.  I'm just glad I could do this for him and that my Husband and family, back in OH, have supported me in my efforts to help both parents. 

Oh yeah, I'm 60, grandma of 7, overweight by 20 lbs and love ice cream, chocolate and nearly every cat I ever met.
